Want a wedding hairstyle that nobody else you know has gotten married in? Look no further than the Fall 2011 runways. Here are a few beautiful Fashion Week hairstyles that left a lasting impression on us (and could easily be re-interpreted for a wedding).
1. The sleek flip-under we spotted backstage at the Carolina Herrera show. Simple yet different, this would perfectly suit a sleek, modern wedding gown.
2. A braided half-up style, which we saw at Nanette Lepore. You could curl the bottom part to add volume, if you wanted. This one would work for a more ethereal or even bohemian style of wedding gown.
3. A twisted, tucked-under ponytail (a braid alternative), as seen at Jason Wu. This could be cute as a bun alternative at a casual summer wedding. You'd probably want to skip the big gold accent, although you could do something like that in a smaller way.
